Dennis addresses the EU Leadership Club

The 'Leadership Club' is a luncheon community open to the top civil servants in the European Parliament and the European Commission, namely, those with titles of Director or Director General. Dennis has been honoured by having been invited to address the Club on two recent occasions, in connection with systems thinking, and also innovation, basing his talk on this quotation from Macchiavelli:

"The innovator makes enemies of all those who prospered under the old order,  and whenever those who oppose the changes can do so, they attack vigorously."

These words are taken from The Prince, first published in 1515  – that's nearly 500 years ago! 

And it certainly stimulated a most lively conversation 500 years later!
